undrstdy.org provides a free platform that enables community theater groups to create, manage, and publish virtual theater programs. The platform allows users to upload content, optionally encrypt programs with show codes, and control when programs are made publicly accessible. The service is provided as-is without warranty of any kind.
To use undrstdy.org, you must register for an account using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify undrstdy.org of any unauthorized use of your account.
You retain all ownership rights to content you upload to undrstdy.org. By uploading content, you grant undrstdy.org a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content solely to provide the service.
Your programs remain private and are not publicly accessible until you choose to publish them. You may unpublish programs at any time. If you add a show code during program creation, your content will be encrypted at the source and accessible only to those with the show code.
Directors are solely responsible for all content included in their programs, including obtaining necessary permissions and consents from participants whose names, images, or other information appear in published programs. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and publish the content you submit to undrstdy.org.
You agree to use undrstdy.org only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:
undrstdy.org reserves the right to review content and enforce these Terms at its sole discretion. undrstdy.org may remove any program, suspend or terminate any account, and ban any user that violates these Terms without prior notice. Decisions regarding content removal and account termination are final.
Your use of undrstdy.org is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information in connection with your use of Google authentication and the platform.
undrstdy.org is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. undrstdy.org does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, undrstdy.org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the platform.
undrstdy.org is not liable for any damages arising from data loss, including but not limited to data loss resulting from forgotten show codes. You are solely responsible for maintaining records of your show codes and backing up your content.
In no event shall undrstdy.org's total liability exceed fifty dollars ($50.00).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless undrstdy.org and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the platform, (b) your content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
undrstdy.org reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the platform and updating the Effective Date. Your continued use of undrstdy.org after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
undrstdy.org reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any features at any time without notice or liability.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and undrstdy.org regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
